Writer, feminist, pro-vax activist Juniper Russo, a UUCC member since 2011, shares her story of personal transformation. Once a crunchy mom believing in nature as religion, with a mindset distrustful of science and the medical establishment, her unvaccinated, breast-fed, all-natural daughter’s autism diagnosis proved to her that the common wisdom in her circles was wrong and dangerous. Today her faith is in science informed by skepticism.
