Becoming A Member

Graphic of a green chalkboard against a white brick wall. The text reads: 'UU: 101 with Rev. Mandy Goheen. The 3rd Sunday of each month, 12:30 PM in the UUCC Sanctuary.' Illustrated chalk and an eraser sit on the tray at the bottom.

Becoming a member of any church is an important decision. Before deciding to join, you may want to learn more about UUCC or Unitarian Universalism in general. We want newcomers to make an informed decision about joining the church. In an effort to make our church values and culture transparent & known to newcomers, UUCC offers a “UU101” meeting each month on the 3rd Sunday at 12:30 p.m. in the UUCC Sanctuary.

Time, Talent, and Treasure

UUCC thrives because of the collective generosity of our members. When you join, we invite you to share your gifts in three primary ways:

  • Time: From greeting on Sundays to seasonal projects like our annual auction, your presence builds our community.

  • Talent: Whether you are an artist, a spreadsheet wizard, or a musician, there is a place for your unique skills to shine.

  • Treasure: Financial contributions (pledges and donations) allow our values to take action in the world—from RE curriculum to social justice initiatives.

For more information on how to share your time and talent, please visit our engage with us page. For more information on financial contributions, please visit our donation page.
